I have wired transferred money before several times from bank to bank but it is expensive. I'm looking to send $75-$100 to an individual for parts.
- personal check -- not sure it would clear easily through the banking system
- international money order -- ?
- MoneyGram -- ?
- Western Union -- ?
- American Express gift cheque -- ?

Any experience with one of these or any other ideas? The money is going to a city in Picardie, France.

Thanks
SLITS
Find someone in the country that you can PayPal or send another form of money that is acceptable and let them pay for you.

In the end, it is what the seller will accept. If you have to wire transfer, it's gonna cost and that is the exact reason I no longer buy anything from a non-US site. mad.gif

I would buy a visa or american express card, the gift cards..

If I was back home in Sweden and got a check I would have been WTF.gif europe does not use checks (as much)

For that amount I would send cash.

"johannes" is a member here who lives in France - maybe he could help you out with PayPal (like SLITS mentioned)
