I'm tryiing to start my car for the firt time and I don't seem to be getting any fuel. The fuel pump is getting voltage and if I jumper it it runs, but sound a little funny (sorta intermittent/not steady). I have a '92 3.6 engine and I bought a brand new '92 3.6 fuel pump. The pump does have a flow indicator on it, so I assumed it hooked up just like the '75 914 pump. Maybe it's backwards??? confused24.gif

I re-checked all my fuel connections and they look good (if the pump isn't backwards?) Does anybody know how the 3.6 pump flow?? I have the large flared end plumbed as the input and the banjo fitting end (wiring end) as the output........is that correct???

Help me out......I want to hear this dang thing roar to life after 3 years!!

It requires a blind nut, banjo fitting and copper seals to attach the outlet side. D
