I'm having rear bumper top envy.

My early bumper has an OK bumper top, my 74 bumper has a great bumper top, but I'm afraid to try to remove the nuts from the studs on the good bumper top for fear of shearing off the stud.

That's what is keeping me from switching to my early rear bumper.

I may just put the early bumper on with the crappy bumper top, but I hate to do that, and I'm not buying a new one for $350 or so because I'm a CSOB.

What happened with those fiberglass bumper tops??????
