It never ends does it?

The alternator just went out on me. And my axles are dying.

I just wanna drive it.

Murphy's law says this stuff will happen, but why does Murphy have to ride around

in the trunk damn it.

And I thought Murphy was riding with me all the time

Just replaced my dead alternator a couple of weeks ago. I got tired of charging up the battery every night after my commute. I bought one at Bugformance for about $110. Thanks to the people in this non-club I didn't have too much trouble doing the job

It beats driving something else!

Pre internet days I installed an alternator in my college apartment parking lot. Took an aweful lot of 4 letter prayer words and phone consultations w/my Dad who had a Haynes manual we could talk through together... Bloody knuckles, oh the bloody knuckles from that job...

I don't think it's possible to work on an air cooled engine without getting bloody, all those sharp metal edges just waiting for knuckles
