for a -6 rebuilt , wanna do transparent upgrade,, the bore is the same for the 2 , stroke come from the crank but will they fit with a 2,0 case with a 2.0 crank

They are the same except for the compression on the 2.2's will be higher than the 2.4.

2.2 piston/cylinders will fit. Same stroke. 2.4 pistons have a far different pin location, and will not work with a 2 litre crank and rods. Furthermore, it you have 901 cams, 2.2T pistons won't work, either. The Cap'n

I think the spiggot (case opening) changed mid year 1973

so all of the pre-73 cases have the same opening size in the case.
they should fit a 2.0 case.
they may be biral instead of cast-iron as was stock

ok but when you go on the pelican site ,, and you look at the P&C aftermarket set, they list the same for 2.2 and 2.4L so they should be the same??????,, the rest of the engine bits are stock 914-6 engine
