Custom Console with side out LCD monitor
Console will contain a full PC with the Megasquirt stuff and will have wireless internet. For kicks.
Will also have a small subwoofer and will contain my gauges.
Megasquirt FI (fuel only, unless I can get some donation in the form of a newer Megasquirt unit
)
I'm also designing a tent that will snap or could be fastened to the 914 for when I go camping down in TN for the "Circle Your Wagons" VW meet.

The reason?
My car ISNT stock, several people have told me that without welding OE type panels to my car its worthless, and I think I shoudl do *MY* part to make the link from 70s technology to 2006.
Maybe i'm a crazy maniac, but i'm having a blast.

That is AWSOME! We need some pics of this. lol, wireless interenet in a 914??
no need for a newer Megasquirt to control ignition, even the earliest versions can easily and cheaply be converted (you use an LED circuit or cold start circuit)
