I know the oil squirters are installed in the crank mains on the block, but how do they get thier oil?
Are the crank bearings modified with a small hole to feed oil to the squirters?

A passage is drilled down into the main oil feed for the bearing (the bearings have nothing to do with this).
Dont even think about it on your 4 cyl.

My "reference library" contains more general auto info. I have no 911 engine stuff.

OK heres a scan from BAs book.
If you are going to have your case modifed for squirters, get the 964 squiters, rather than the 911 ones. The 964 units spray more oil.
Also whats the best way to scan from a book? grayscale? photo?

Thanks Tim. This is EXACTLY what I wanted to show.
GreyScale is perfect. If you scan in color the file will be too large.
