Well, Curvie left his camera at the pub so I'm posting some pix first for a change. Roughly 10 914s, one 74 911, one 96 C4S, one Boxster 2.7 and one escort wagon chase car through the winding backroads of Dexter, Pinckney, Unadilla and Chelsea Michigan on a beautiful still colorful Fall day. Thanks to you all for the great costumes and comraderie. Pix to follow. The first one is of Curvie in his Sunday finest.

Would you trust a crossdresser and the Captain sans Tenille to plan this event?

Paul Bunyon's approach the rust bucket in these parts is far superior to the sazall.

Hey, since when did Amish men start smoking?
Not quite as much smoke as Mr. 914 created the german way though.

Hi Guys,
Sorry I could not attend. Looks like a good turnout for a cold day. What was captain Gary dressed up like?? Some of you guys look better in costumes than real life.
No offense guys or was that "Potter" in attendance?
I put my 914 away for the winter & see you guys during the holiday's for a little cheer (Ohio guys are invited).

He sure does scare me! 65 mph in a 35mph residential zone. Wife wanted to shoot him.

I taught him that. I have a rule of thumb for "Fun Runs".. double the posted speed limit in the curves. I typically judge the situation in the residential area's before I double the speed limit.
Tell her the speedo is off in the car by 10 MPH. LOL

BS Chairman came up to me at the Cider Mill and said everyone was complaining I was going too slow and to pick up the pace for the rest of the run

Next time, I'll put in the metric spedometer. that way she thinks it's even faster.
Or, better yet. Leave her at the house...
Double the recommended speed in corners is about right for a teener.
