Has anybody used/seen the Automobile Atlanta repro steel GT flares? What did you think of them?
Thanks!!!

Buck Toenges had one of the first sets installed on his car and they looked gud. Course all of his car looked gud- including the 3.2l six.

Fit and finish on that car was perfect but Buck pointed out he had 2 lefts on the rear. Seems he didn't notice until after he had welded the rear fenders on and was trying to fit the fronts. The front right didn't fit and he realized he had 2 front lefts and then realized.... two rear lefts. Might mean you could get 2 rear rights!

Apparently you just tape them in place, drill a few holes for sheet metal screws and screw them down. Take a saw and cut both the fender and flat around the flare at the same time. When you are done cutting, remove the screws and the little strip of fender flare material. Butt weld in place. He said it was cake....... laugh.gif

cool.gif Yea, cake! That's why one of ten cars with steel flares has the flares put on right!
