I know the 914-4 rocker arm retention nuts are a 7mm, but what pitch? The nuts I brought along to my FLAPS were so messed up that I couldn't tell for certain if it was a 1.0 pitch. My Bentley VW Bus book just says they are M7 and PP doesnt' seem to know they exist. Can anyone tell me for certain what the pitch is?

M7 either 1.0 or .75

real tiny nuts.

Yup. My FLAPS had 1.0 pitch, but I couldn't be sure because of the condition of the nuts that I brought with me. The other pitch they had was .8, but only in smaller diameters.

Yeah i think its 1.0 pitch. Pretty sure actually. Ive had to buy a few of those. But I'm never really sure of anything.

The nuts that hold down the rocker assembly are M7.0 X 1.0.

The lock nuts for the valve adjusters are M10 X 1.0

Thanks! I was able to confirm this myself earlier today. Gotta get this Bus back on the road for the Jerome Jamboree this weekend!!
