I drove my 914/6 to work today. It was a blast!!!


I passed a Silver 996 in traffic while I was tached out in 3rd. Next thing I know, he is next to me and he rolls down the rh window. He doesn't pass me, he just kinda sits next to me with his window next to the engine compartment.


Well, traffic backs up because of a wreck and we are stopped dead. He pulls up next to me and says "Thanks!".. I say "Your welcome, but what are you thanking me for?"

He says "I was listening to your 914.. It has to be an MFI six! It sounds wonderful!"

I said that he was right...

He says "I used to have a 73 911 S that I sold to get the 996. I miss the 73."

Just then, traffic started to move....


Now that started my day off reall nice. A guy in a 996 is coveting my 914!!!!
