Hey, folks. It's long past time to revise the 914 FAQ (found for many years on the DGI.NET 914 club site, Tim's 914 Fan Page, and the Pelican site).
I'd like to expand it with more info. Please drop me a note, or add on to this message, any questions that you think would be appropriate for a 914 FAQ.

The battery just sits on a piece of wood in the engine compartment, where or how does it go? Is rust easy to fix?

I have not looked at the FAQ in several years until now...it needs a tune-up.
How about:
* Updating the section on the LE cars - they are not 'Special Edition' etc.
* An expanded section on books - not just a mention of Haynes and Probst, but a bibliography of most/all books - Caught by Camera, Das Grosse etc...
* A reduced emphsis on Hussey, unless the other big resources are listed too.
* Add a website links section to significant 914 sites, 914 clubs worldwide

Dave,
If you want to capture my books list, please do.
Other stuff that should be in the FAQ:
1. More detail on common (and commonly overlooked) places for rust to hide. Pictures?
2. a list of the available web resources for the 914.
3. Red vs Black keys
4. Adding Relays (a.k.a. How to avoid Electrical Fires)
I'm sure I'm missing a ton of stuff. Browse thru the 700 Tech Tips book, maybe, to help trigger ideas.
