I have a big ass crack in my windshield, made a quick call and luckily the first place I called had one in stock. Tinted band across the top. Got the trim clips (I might be missing 2) and new trim corner pieces. Maybe I will even wash the car, since I haven't touched it in about 4 months.

Travis, nice score.... how much is it costing you?

We have one too. Could you outline the steps to install a new one?

Very cool! I have installed a few new windshields in 914's in the past. But generally don't anymore because they use that stuff that requires heating it up to work with. I'll usually pull, clean, paint if needed and drive or trailer the car in so all they have to do is install the glass. I don't trust them with the trim. smash.gif

$450 installed. I'll write up what he does for removal and installation.
