This is for the guy that wants a flat 6 and gets to keep his Holley 650cfm 4 barrel to show off to his muscle car freinds. WTF.gif

Wow.... Those guys in Puerto Rico are into the NASCAR/Lemans stuff.

Will it fit on a Type 4 motor with turbosquishyblownalchynitro setup without killing any kittens???

what are the 2 AN fitings for? is it like an "oil cooler" in there to act as a suck thru intercooler (water to air)?

i'd have to guess that those are for the coolant to help warm up the carb???

a ford GT has a cool little fluid to air intercooler in the intake manifold.... maybe this was similar....

works for FI... but not for carbs.... my bad... cant do a suck thru intercooler....

it looks like a CIS manifold.....but CIS was still aircooled....

I hope you are not serious........

But if you are, here's the reason you would NOT want this.

It would work like the Pinto/Weber 2bbl on a type IV.... The carb would run cold and the fuel would drop out of suspension before it got to the cylinders. Mebbie that is what the oil line under the carb is for??

Plus, it doesn't look like it would flow too well, the plenum is chunky and poorly fabricated, and a fuel/air mix doesn't like turning corners without the fuel dropping out of suspension. That's the reason that Porsche used Solex, and later Weber carbs. There is no place for fuel to drop out of suspension when the whole intake run is almost perfectly straight down.
bd1308
It was a reply to the jokers who suggested that that setup would be for my /6

I want MFI or CIS or something that has a grunt.

Ok.. good.. I was hoping you were joking.

But then again I will most likely only dream of owning a nice 911 someday, so the /6 would be out of the Q

now K-Jet*(CIS) on a /4 would be intresting idea.gif

Good God! Isn't it bad enough to have any kind of intake manifold on a flat 6?

(as he hugs his MFI setup)

looks like a genuine BD1308 piece! worth some bucks!!

Ya think it would be rude to paint my intake that color without asking permission first. Green intakes is good for speed....

Not an original B-Doddy. Simple forgery. I did attend the DiD (Dodd Institute of Design) though...

With Halloween coming up, one could always make the engine look like there's a big spider hanging out in the engine bay.
