What type of high-temp paint have you used with success — and what local outlets have you gotten it from?

Did you brush, sponge, or spray it on?

Thanks,

pete

Griot's High Temp black.
Used a sponge brush.
No rust so far. (5 years)

I've never had brake rotors on a car for more than about 6 months - but I use engine paint. Works well for me.

I,ve used BB-Q paint and had it last for years.

I use cold galvanizing compound, it's grey in color and is 95% zinc dust with a resin binder. Holds up to heat well, I use it on mufflers and heater boxes. Comes is a spray can, you'll find it at welding supply places.
