Had to rebuiled the top end of my 2.0 ltr engine, had bad rings. Installed new
pistons and cylinders and did a valve job. Just tuned my engine on my sons
Dyno. Instaled 32MM choke tubes and change the main to 135 on my IDF40's
Engine now dellevers 93.35HP at 108.65 lbs. of torque with a high lift cam.

Engine started out with 76HP at 99 lbs. of torque what a difference now.

Post your dyno sheet...

I love looking at dyno sheets.

What induction?

What size cylinders?

What timing worked best?

What elevation>

ETC?

Thanks

well your AFR was pretty lean before!!

Now you are in the 12's mostly.

Looks good. What are you running for CR and cam?

Have you thought about the CB Performance Weber Update kit. It removes the secondary venturi and replaces it with a spray bar. I put it in my old 2 liter and it made a difference by the seat of the pants. It would be interesting to see dyno results on it.

CR is 8.25 I'm at a 1000ft elevation. Cam is unknown as it was installed by
the PO. I am in the process of installing headers on the car should be good for
5- 10 HP will post Dyno runs when finish

Jake,

Now that the car is street legal I plan to work on that exhaust while the body
is taken off for painting.

Trivia Alert....

I went to Robert Redford lecture recently and he told the following story:

Robert Redford owned a 904 when he was filming Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid. He let Paul Newman drive it on a little road trip they went on and it is because of this drive that Paul Newman got hooked on driving and racing Porsches.

..... back to the regularly scheduled program....

I would like to hear some club members' responce to the CB carb spray rails. I think I remember Jake saying they don't add anything.

All they did for me was complicate tuning...I tried them numerous times and never got their worth from them. A better ignition system is a much better purchase.
