HI,

Are there any Spanish speakers who would be willing to give me a little ongoing
help? I know the basics of Spanish, but I have a lot of trouble writing.

I have friends who are from Ecuador. The girl now says that she will only write to
me in Spanish, and I have to answer her in Spanish! I mainly need ongoing help
with choices of words, and the order of words in sentences. I don't expect to be
a native speaker, but I'd like to sound somewhat intelligent! I feel so stupid! I
spent a month there and didn't know what was going on most of the time!

Anyone willing to take me on as a project? I promise to not drive you crazy with
questions!

I don't know spanish, but I use this for writing it, maybe it might help;

I used that one time, and I found out I shot my dog with a gun instead of giving
her shots! It is better than nothing, though!

I've noticed a couple wierd things too when I've used it.

If you keep it simple I'll give it a shot. It is my second language (insert polyglot smiley).

Words to avoid
- Penocha, chocha, almeja barbuda, hollo del amour
- Pene, verga, madera dura del amour, slachicha de mis pantalones
- Culo, cavrone, puta

A good phrase:

Fue sin querer = my bad (litterally = it was without want, more elloquent way to say sorry)

Que honda = sup?

Quiero poner los manos en su cuerpo = I want to put my hands on your body

Ensenyame las tetas = show me your boobs!

You told me it meant "I have hands like a surgeon".............and

"Show me your tonsils".........

I don't know Doc, this is a nice girl (she doesn't know anything of 914's!!!). I
don't think she will learn much about them/y'all either!!
