Laguna Seca here we come!!!

Come on out to Laguna Seca with Leadfoot Adventures and T.E.A.M Racing
on Thursday Nov 2nd for a great track day at this world-famous road
course! T.E.A.M. and Leadfoot Adventures are known for their low cost -
high value events, and this one is no exception! Registration is only
$285 and is will open at Motorsportsreg.com Wednesday night. This
event is expected to fill up quickly since Laguna events are hard to get
into and usually cost over $300 (sometimes way more than that!)

As always, breakfast in the morning and bottled water all day are
included at no extra charge. All drivers are welcome to attend the morning
classroom session as well as the instructional novice and intermediate
download sessions throughout the day. Each driver will receive at
least 5 run sessions and will be sharing the track with other drivers of
similar experience/skill (novice, intermediate, advanced.)

Gates open at 6:45. See ya at the track ! biggrin.gif

Hi Vinny,

I'll send this to the PCA-CCCR email list.

Want to come but need to check my work calendar before I can commit!

I talked to Doug from Trackmasters tonight and have to call him again tomorrow morning once he gets the chance to sort out everything he has coming up on his own events.

Hooked on Driving post 11am today - Seca Nov 3rd they have reserved.
OK - don't hyperventilate - we have been on the list for a date at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for three years, and we finally got the call!! A cancellation opened up Friday, November 3rd - an excellent date - AND we JUMPED ON IT!! Many of you have been asking about Laguna - now is your chance. There have been many safety improvements to this world famous track in the last couple of years - you WILL love it. We'll run groups A, B, and C - NOTE: there will be a 92 decibel sound limit that is out of our hands - so sorry - most race cars will be over 92. We promise lots of great track time and then you'll be "stuck" in Monterey for the weekend!! Last comment: We hope this won't change your plans to participate in our Buttonwillow and final Thunderhill event - think of the Laguna event as a surprise bonus!! Hope to see you there.

Well, I guess that pretty much kills my shot of having people attend the day before...

Vezna,

My posting of the HOD date for Nov 3 was not meant to interfere with your plans in any way. Nov 3 may sell out as HOD has a pretty big following in norcal. I have done a number of their events at T'hill and they get big turnouts. I just thought this group should know that Nov 3 is a possibility -- without prejudice to your efforts for Novemberr 2.

The date is confirmed!!
Vezna31
Hey Brad,

Will you be bringing the Boxster up?
Trekkor
I'm still interested... looking for cash.

With a possible sellout happening, we encourage everyone to pay when registering to guarantee your spot. If there is a waitlist and there are registrants who haven't yet paid, those slots will be forfeited to those on the waitlist who will pay. Here's the link and see you at the track!!

Wow...a quarter full already in a half-day of open registration. I never thought I'd see this day.
Vezna31
Make that 35 registrants in 24 hours, moe than one-third the way already. This is so clutch.
Brad Roberts
I dont know if I can get the time off sad.gif

I would have to take off Thursday and Friday to make the trip there and back.

I would just barely make it there with a few hours to spare leaving Wed. afternoon from SD.

I need to save a day for the POC racers clinic. I'm not going to miss another one.

Maybe we should complain to the admins.

I was watching the radar for Monterey today...Looked iffy.

How was it?

It poured here with some minor flooding.

The track was wet when we got there in the morning, but was dry by the time we went green. It stayed dry all day.

It was a successful day.
Trekkor
I'm glad.

Great news.
