I'm not sure I'd spend north of a quarter mil (assuming I had that budgeted for a boat) with someone with thier feedback....

No doubt. Such a boat would probably have a pair of supercharged big block Chevy engines. IMO a Porsche V-8 is a waste for a marine engine. But if you can pay $275K for a boat, you can have any kind of engine you want.
I keep looking for a picture of the engine, all I see are pictures of the boat and of the anchor
