I was expecting a type 1 part- that looks pretty hip.

It's funny, I knew they made them for V8s back in the day, but for VW, I had no idea. It's a little different than the one in your link. Not sure I would have paid $7.00 for one, but it was in the deal, so here it is. Its kinda cool how the terminals point to the side.

Those are pretty common with the T-1 crowd. The come in red and blue too.

Besides red and blue they came in green purple and amber. But I tried a few

and they all had some kind of problem it would miss like a MoFo. That was in

the early 80's.
