I am over at Tom's house helping him with a V8 car.

SIDE SHIFT Tranny was stuck in gear (don't know which one)

Pulled selector and tried to move forks... nuttin.

Pulled tail cone. tried to lossen intermediate plate to help me.

Nuttin changed.

Now I understand that this tranny is a tail converted to a side shifter.

with zero miles.

Also noted the intermediate plate has NO gaskets between the caSE AND TAIL.

oooopS... THIS THING IS GUNNA SMOKE A R&P...

In thre interim.. How the fuck do I unlock this trans just to see if I can make the car go down the street?

it wont smoke a r/p if there are no gaskets between tail and int plate.... it will leak bad LOL

if there are none between case and int plate well....yeah you are hosed

you can try to pull the stack out.... and take a look.. but it needs to be in 5th and you gotta pull the gear selection console...

Yeah, I can't wait to get my tranny back so I can dial everything in. Clayton highly recommended that I should get a set of Wired CV bolts from you. I have the 930 cv's. not exactly sure what the bolt size is. here's a pic. Let me know if you got the goods, Doc.
