It's because HTML does not recognize multiple spaces - it reduces them to one space. To get more spaces you have to use " " in HTML.

has *nothing* to do with this forum. it's part of the HTML specification. *all* websites render webpages that way. no double, trippel whatever spaces, they're all ignored and reduced to a single space ...

AndyThat's funny. I am 100% certain that somehow, some way the old software *did* support double spaces.
I've been using double spaces between sentences for... a long, long time and never noticed an issue until after the upgrade. I know, it's...
