My bro-in-law has a 1996 993 twin turbo which he would like some performance mods done. Apparently he's not happy with the 400 hp it's got. He's looking for options to increase HP by at least another 100hp barf.gif . Any of yous know any good Porsche performance shops around so-cal you can rececommend that does turbo upgrades and such? Any info would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Tom

I would be glad to install that engine in my teener and do all the nesessary

research to produce more HP, it shouldn't take me more than 5 or 6 years.

That's not alot more really. I'd imagine he could find some chip or something that would give him more then that.

I don't know WHAT they do over there.. but there's www.factorywerks.com. From their website, looks like mostly 911 and 944.

No in SoCal, but this guy was featured in the 11/06 C&D:

Here's the article:

Heffner ought to be able to squeeze at least an extra 100hp out of your brother-in-law's car, though I suspect the price might make him think twice.

Or tell him to just go buy a Tesla and give you the non-NARP. wink.gif

When you REALLY want it done right, Andial is the only choice. The choice of champions, literally. And they're close by.

Andial would have been a good choice, but they have
shut their doors and retired.

I would reccomend Jeff Erickson of Aase Motors in
Fullerton. Builds, maintains many motors for the POC
group.

Search the 993 Turbo forum on rennlist.com for
futher opinions.
