I've been organizing a little fun rally for next weekend. Some of the local Lotus guys suggested we invite other car fanatics to join us.

November 11th, 2006 Orlando Lotus Fun Run
SYNOPSIS:
9:45 am - Meetup Point 1: 10615 Narcoossee Rd Orlando, FL 32832-6904 Publix Shopping Center (417 and Narcoossee Road Near Lake Nona) – Depart at 10:00 am sharp!
10:30 am arrival - Meetup Point 2: 125 Oxford Rd Casselberry, FL 32730-2111 My Office Building. Turn left on Oxford Road at the intersection where there is a SunTrust bank and Gas Station. As you pass the drive-thru teller lanes, the next building (single story beige) is my office– Depart at 10:45 am sharp!
11:05 am arrival - Meetup Point 3: 65 E Main St Apopka, FL 32703-5255 (CVS in Apopka) – Depart at 11:20 am sharp!
Arrival 12:00 PM - Lunch: 8210 County Road 48 Yalaha, FL 34797-3193 (German Food, Tortes, Pastries, and incredible bread) – Lunch should be about 90 minutes or so (Maybe more, maybe less) - Depart 1:30 PM from lunch (approximate)
Waypoint: 12800 Anderson Hill Rd Clermont, FL 34711-9336 US (This road is hard to see. It is a steep hill and fun to climb up with a manual transmission. Then cruises back down to the lake).
End Point: 7399 Stetson Dr Clermont, FL 34714-8426 US (This is the location for the Seminole Glider Port)
LUNCH:
We are eating at Yalaha Country Bakery. On Saturdays they have grilled bratwurst, potato salad, rolls and beer. They also have a deli that makes sandwiches. They are known for the pastries, tortes and breads. Surprisingly, they keep well in the rear trunk on a fun day of driving.

Spouse, friend, or significant other
Full tank of gas (we're not stopping)
E-pass (to avoid having to stop and pay tolls). You can buy them at Publix if you don't have one
Hat, sunglasses, and radar detector (optional)
Money for food and drink ($10-$15 per person for lunch and extra money for pastries, breads, and deserts)

Keep the speed under control. There are those of us that aren’t speed demons, don’t have radar detectors and don’t wish to get caught! If you care to have a spirited run, be considerate of others and wait for the pack to catch up!
