Friday I pick up my 1976 2.0. Yes this is a motor from a 912E going into a 1967 912... buts its a`Type 4 so its family next to the 914 1.8 in the garage.

I was thinking that I should host a Engine Install Party sometime in December. Anyone in Arizona or New Mexico could make it a`short trip. We`will have lots of food and adult cool-aid

There will be some fab work involved here, the engine hangar from the 912E isn't compatible totally with the engine mounts in the early 912...

I may be able to come down for it, but the 10th is the Toys-for-Tots breakfast run in Casa Grande and the next weekend is my daughter's birthday. Weekends are really limited in December.

Jake, oh yea the Raby Treatment is coming for this motor. I have a set of 912E support brackets I think we can weld into place for the support bar to mount to.

Snow sometimes in December but we have heat in the garage!
