i just replaced all 4 rotors and cleaned and repacked the front hubs.
i was trying to get he caps back on the front rotors but they wont go.
everytime i start them one side kicks out(the cap wont stay parallel to the rotor).
is there some kind of trick to doing this?
thanks

I've always just beat them on, but I guess you could put them in the oven at 400 degrees and see if they expand.

just wack them with a heavey hammer, erally, thats how i have been doing it for years on these cars. You will end up denting them, and bugger up the paint, but thats life, the wheel hub caps should coever them. its ugly but it works.

A ten pound sledge is a bit overkill, do a visual inspection and make sure no
obstructions are in the way then rap them in with a small ballpean hammer or
whatever you have.

I use a piece of pipe. I have a chunk about 2 feet long that's just the right diameter to clear the domed part and seat on the lip. Then I hit the pipe with the BFH.

I never replaced mine. I just re-use the old ones. Yup I'm cheap bastard.
