Accelerator cable was very stiff, peddle would not return. we decidedto pull the cable, took off the pivot end at the peddle cluster,a dn plled it from the engine fire wall, then it hung up after a couple feet pulled.
Any ideas on this??

its frayed methinks. i'd cut it as far as you can down the tunnel, and pull out both ways.

good idea, we'll give that a try. cable sure looks fine, the part we can see that is, but it hase been hagnign up.
I heard there are two types sold, one better than the oterh (but more cost). anyone have input on this?

I got just a regular OEM cable and it worked really well.
I think replacing them in some interval is the solution....

I paid a little extra for the Terrycable. It is lined with teflon (do not grease! it says) and comes with a cool sticker in the package. I need to install this Saturday.

but even the terrycable will eventually die, right?
