If this area is free of rust I'll take it. I'll have to paint over the copper color but that's fine.
TROJANMAN

Just cut up apick a part special down in fortworth. I'll post more info on that soo and pics.

SO I don't need any metal, but I would like a windshield. You ship it? How much?
TROJANMAN
windshield met an ugly death during removal
tracks914
I need 2 of these....
tracks914
2 of these...
tracks914
or better yet...on each side.
BTW why are you cutting up such a good car????
tracks914
This is what I need the floors for.... so as much material as you can get from the frame as well, will only help.

BTW why are you cutting up such a good car????

because i don't live in canada poke.gif chairfall.gif

there was way too much rust to make it an economical resurrection
the firewall is toast, as are both rockers, front cowl, etc....

but man, your pictures are making me feel guilty unsure.gif
i wish i could UPS you this tub smile.gif

biggrin.gif

i'll start chopping this week sawzall-smiley.gif
tracks914
Try this if you can. On the outside edge I need as much as possible to weld to the frame with. On the inside I canbutt weld to just about any part of the floor.
tracks914
If I could run over and pick up the tub I would too but this way I get to practice my welding.
BTW you will be removing the sound deadening material I hope. That will cut the shipping weight in 1/2. :-)
For the price I will be happy to get as much good floor as I can. Thanks a bunch I really appreciate it.
Bed time here in the East I check back tomorrow.

Sorry but the guy in the 'green' in the pic..
Needs to jump in here..
I usually hang out in the CW section..
BUT I really Respect what you are doing..
And post pics of this major surgery..
But have you received a call from the
'Flintstones yet'????
You really need close to a 1/2 of the car for your project..;
C'mon down to Denver ..
The freight cost by the time it is crated will not be much more
for all of the section that you need,,
And we can ''''''Smuggle''''''' in some Elmo's with it...
tracks914
I love the Flintstone dig biggrin.gif I deserve it!!!
I'm up for a challenge and know I can do it. I'm a welder fabricator so making most parts is easy. The floor pans are hard to make ridgid without all the ribs so those I will buy besides if this guy can do it...Diggin into hell ...then I want to too!!! welder.gif
Another reason for keeping this car on the road, I want to customize it (I have a bone stock one now) and just couldn't bring myself to cutting up a good chassis. I'll leave the good ones for beginners. aktion035.gif
