I took the top off the 914 today, put on some shorts, and had a pleasant drive to the golf course. Played a decent 9 (guy we paired with had a 1!!! ), then drove the teener home topless as well!!!


Who says Cali has all the good weather?!?!?!?

Just making this easier to find when it's 20 below in colo springs, and those in the people republik of Kalifornia are still driving around topless...

Uhhh...that's not important!! What's important is the beautiful Colorado day in mid November that I can put on shorts, drive topless to the golf course, and play around in the high altitude sunshine!!!!

There is not any traffic in California. Driving the 914 on the golf course is very pleasant. It is one of the best golf carts around. Even drive around topless!!

I prefer to think that i got to hit the ball more for the same ammount of $$$...

It was 88 degrees here today with under 20% humidity, only take the top off if you have plenty of sunscreen.
Real men play 27 holes and tell their wives there was a major hold up on the 9rd tee.

We're expecting a cold front this week, turkey day is only gonna be around 71 degrees. Time to put the short pants and flip flops away for a few months

Well I guess I've been told by the colorado croud, i'll just take our beautiful

beaches and awsome weather and go home....oh I am home. Did I mention

the cold snap we have coming? Should be down in the 70's.

Brew, do me a favor and say hello to the Alta and Snowbird ski resorts. They were my best friends when I was a kid.

I don't really know anyone else from there 'cept fer the people on this here board.

BTW, I went skiing at a place called Monarch about 14 years ago, it was about 50 or 60 miles west of Colorado Springs. Great snow, no crowds (even on turkey day) and it was cheap. Too darned cold, but still cheap. Is that place still around?
EDIT never mind, a quick search and i found this:

Monarch is cool, never crowded. Not real big, but great terrain!

I think the snow is a little lite in Alta and Snowbird, but I'll check their websites before I leave, see if I need to bring my gear or not.

Now we don't really want to get into a pissing match on who has better winter weather do we??? I can't remember the last time we weren't wearing shorts and throwing the ball around on Suberbowl Sunday.

Feel free to come experience our brutal winter for yourself this year for the Fiesta Bowl, the BCS Championship game, the Phoenix Open, Barrett Jackson....we got 'em all baby!

The hottest summer I've ever experienced was a weekend in April in Phoenix.

If you question a trip to Vegas at ANY time....you CLEARLY don't get Vegas!

Already got a trip planned for the first weekend of January.

We had that one day several years ago in June that they shut down the airport because it was too hot for the planes to take off. It hit 122 that day.

My parents live in Wickenburg Ariz, not too far from you. I visit them at least twice a year.
Last time I was there, (winter time) every night it got colder than a well diggers lunchbox. Sure it warmed up during the day and was nice, but it got down in the 30s and 40s at night. That's too darn cold.

Not too shabby a day!!! We didn't get to play at the most scenic course, seems everyone had the same idea I had!! But, fun was had by all nonetheless!!
