The way the bars are situated makes the flame front burn away from the driver.

I see big problems with this design if left as-is. There does not apear to be ANY latteral support! It looks like the only mount points are an upper mount located to the rear and a lower mount located forward near the original torsion bar tube. (See red arrows).
The yellow arrows indicate how I think everything will shift/flex/bend in a right-hand turn when a side load is applied to the rear suspension.
He could triangulate the suspension frame, but that's where the tranny goes.

My guess is that this is a work in progress, and more structure will be added...

It might work after all. Depends on the strenght of the material used.
To me it looks like a copy of the 993 rear suspension.
I don't think that onyone in their right mind will comment on that design.

It is a very close copy of the 993 rear suspension.
I want to kow what uprights he is using.
