Oh, yeah, just go to news.google.com and search for "porsche". It's been all over the press the past week or two. Porsche upped their stake in VW to the maximum they could without starting to turn the takeover wheels. They insist they have no plans to take over VW.

sure seems like from this quote they have other plans:

"Volkswagen stock hit an eight-year high on Wednesday when Porsche announced it had raised its stake to 27.4 percent, aimed to raise its holding as high as 29.9 percent and planned to create authorized capital worth around 8 billion euros ($10.2 billion) as a possible acquisition currency."

as i read it, they are raising cash and fully planning on buying someone...
