I *know* this is a bit off-topic.

I have a line on a set of good condition 72-74 911 rear bilstiens. However, the part number for the 65-71 is different.

Are the two interchangeable? Anyone know what the differences are? If the differences are minor, I can save a couple hundred dollars on rear shocks on the 911 project, that's money well spent elsewhere.

Like beer. beerchug.gif

I'm an idiot. The title of this thread should be "71 vs 72 shocks"

I got the information I needed. Basically, the only thing you need to mount 74 series rear 911 shocks in a 71 is to get a spacer for the bottom. The 71 uses a smaller diameter bolt.
