7th Annual Sacramento Area

Corvettes/Salvation Army

Toy Run



This year the Sacramento Valley Region of the Porsche Club of America will be

joining the Sacramento Area Corvettes in their Annual Toy Run.



SVR invites all Porsche owners to join this Corvette/Porsche charity event this year.



When: December 2nd (Saturday)



Where: Meet at ARCO Arena parking lot 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M.



I-5 and Del Paso Blvd., Sacramento, CA



The Salvation Army will provide donuts and coffee at the

arena and The Eagle 96.9 radio station will be broadcasting

live from the parking lot at ARCO.



Caravan: At 11: 00 A.M. we will travel with CHP escort to the Sunrise

Mall at Greenback/Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA.



What to Bring: An unwrapped toy, a canned food item, and $5.00.



At the Mall:

Sunrise Mall will provide lunch and we will have a

show-n-shine with the Corvettes until 1:00 P.M.

The Sacramento Area Corvettes had 135 Corvettes last year,

so let’s add another 135 Porsches to this Corvette Club/

Salvation Army event to help provide a better Christmas for

some local kids."

i would go but saturday is the day mine is coming apart to finally fix many of the oil leaks it has...i cant walk on my driveway anymore without slipping so i figured its time.

Wow! 200 plus cars! More plastic pigs than porsches. I had the only 914. Sure was weird watching the CHP stop all traffic to let us on the freeway both I-5 & I-80. A total hit for the Salvation Army. Sooooooo many toys & food. I was glad to be part of it. Some pic's to come.
