The math I did says 2.133 liters, is this correct? It doesn't sound right to me.

Pi * radius^2 x stroke(height) (volume of a cylinder)
multiply that by your # of cylinders
3.14 x 96mm^2 * 71mm * 4cyl = 2056

You gotta divide that 96mm by 2 to get the radius, Aaron.

Here is another from John Maher Racing. Pretty interesting site from Scotland dealing with aircooled VW race motors. Even some mention of the Type IV motor.
