None of the bracket offered by Seine System did what we wanted, so fabricated a little bracket and now the trunk can be opened w i d e.

The end goes into the latch hole, so this CF stay isn't coming down unless your playing tackle football nearby.

What I especially like is that everything I want to get at is on either side.

Pardon me, Randal, but there appears to be a yawning hole back there.

BTW, your whole trunk lid set-up looks too heavy for my taste. biggrin.gif

Nice!
I have a CF rear lid and prop and have been using the corner "ridge" to the front of the seal for the prop rod. Having it the extreme corner allows for easy entry/exit of the targa top. Oh yeah, you probably don't have one anymore. beerchug.gif

I can empathise....

I have a bunch of implements of destruction laying around the shop.
Bringing my self to using them on areas of the car is another story.
In some aspects, I've gone farther than you, but in others not as far.....but
I'm thinkin' about it biggrin.gif
