i need to re-paint some designs on my steering wheel....reg paint chipped off

Remove the oxidation and paint within 30 min or it will begin to re-oxidize. Sandblasting (glassbead) is best but being a steering wheel you should probably sand it by hand. Use an etching primer first preferably one specifically for aluminum.
