I'm looking for the best reverse phone number search. Some of you may remember my post about my East Coast Adventure. For the benifit of those who don't know. I was working in the DC area helping with storm claims. My rental car, cell phone, camera's and computer were stolen in the middle of the afternoon. The car was recovered after a chase and 5 car accident. My property wasn't recovered. The billing dept. for the company I work for sent a copy of my cell phone bill. There are two pages of calls made after the phone was reported stolen. The cell provider never turned off the phone! I attempted to reverse several of the numbers but I'm not able to put the numbers with names. I thought if I did a little detective work before I sent the list onto the DC police they may actually track down the perps. I'm thinkin the numbers listed are cell phones. Any search for cell numbers?

AnyWho does reverse lookup, but I doubt cell #'s show.

Cell numbers will be tough.

The best you will be able to do is to determine if the number is a cell number or not. Try Fone Finder. Type in the area code and exchange. That will tell you who the provider is.

Other than that, type the whole number into Google. That does a reverse lookup now.

Another source. I have used this site for years:

Just FYI, for public record and record searches (many for a fee), you can also use:

Then of course you will be able to, someday, find help at:

Thanks, for all the input. I found four people out of a 3 page list of numbers. I'm sending them along with the list to the DC police. I'm not sure it will mean anything but you never know. Stranger things have happened.

P.S. Anyone have access to unlisted numbers? (Mikey?)

Try infousa.com. They have my parents listed, and they have paid to keep their phone # unlisted for the last decade! I have used infousa a few times to track down prank callers. The best use was when I went down to Peoria to visit 914 Limited, I didn't have an address- only a #, and I was able to find the correct address. Great tool. Anyways, who needs cousin guido when you live in small town usa- everything here has a way of fixing itself quietly.

If you have the area code, Google now has this service. Just type the full phone number into the Google search on the main page and it will find the address for you.
