how do you adjust to full soft?
Any help would be appreciated

Do you have the white plastic adjustment knob? If so, you put that on the top of the shock (just proud of the retaining nut) and turn - directions are on the knob. If you do not have the knob I think you can get one from www.Paragon-Products.com

I thought you had to compress the reds and then turn them.

You "had" to compress reds. Koni then changed it so that all shocks were externally adjustable. You can even upgrade your old style to an external adjustment.
