Pelican is listing the intake manifold hoses (the 4 short ones) for the 1.7 as NLA. Where can I get new ones?

Homebrew suggestions are welcome too... I tried 1.25" heater hose, that was a little too small.

Any ideas?

Automobile Atlanta will sell you the hoses for a 2.0 liter, if you order the ones for a 1.7. They won't tell you that they are doing this, but when you question them they will say you have to use hose clamps.

Check at some of the VW sites as they still have a lot of those parts listed.

According to the PET CD this is the correct part number. I ordered some - I'll let you know how it turns out.

The Bus Depot says, "I have done some research on this part and, unfortunately, it is obsolete from our VW dealer, and none of our suppliers carry it. Your best bet is to
check with a local Porsche dealership for this item."

1-3/8" radiator hose - here I come!

I ended up going the 1 3/8" radiator hose route too. No problems so far... Napa has it in straight sections and cut a foot of it for me. I think it was around $9.
