Anybody know how to test a feul gauge? I am not getting a reading on it and I want to determine if it's the gauge or the sender.

Chances are very good it's the sender.

Pictures of removal. Carefully clean the two out-most wires and any corrosion on the float.

Grounding the sender wire should peg the needle. If the needle moves, it's the sender.

SO do I apply 12v to the power terminal and put the ground and sender contact on the gauge together?
