Skip pointed out something in this thread that I had forgotten about the board search function. Normally member signatures are included in the search. Which doesn't make sense to me and has the effect of 'polluting' searches. If I search for Bernardi with the old system I will not only find the threads that mention my last name, but also EVERY thread in which I have posted, since my name is in my signature.

Now that I've modified it, the search function ignores the member signatures which should increase accuracy of the search results.

Please contact me if you notice any search 'weirdness'.

The system caches searches. So there is an 'old' copy of that search stored on the server. It will take a few days for it to clear out... I can't flush the cache manually.
