I'm bidding on some ebay mufflers that cost $75 to ship. The seller says local pickup is fine and in fact preferred. Unfortunately I'm far enough away that it'd be silly for me to go down there and get them.

It'd be fabulously wonderful if one of you fine folks would be willing to pick them up from the seller in Carlsbad and do one of the following:

1. Bring them to the next D&G swap in Riverside.

2. Get them to TonyAKAVW in Redondo Beach.

3. Hang onto them until I get down to the San Diego area. (I'll be moving to Escondido this spring/summer which is bound to necessitate several trips down there between now and then.)

Of course I'll be happy to compensate you for your trouble with the beverage of your choice (within reason, no Dom Perignon).

TonyAKAVW is supposed to be at my BBQ this weekend, so if anyone is coming from down south..........

In the spirit of the kindness that Carlos displayed in helping me with my parts this last weekend, I am compelled to jump in here. I am close to Carlsbad and would be happy to run up there to help you out. I have bolded the key areas of concern. I do not need any booze, but I am trying to pry a TPS away from kdfoust, and he in turn has an itch for bourbon and scotch.

Let me know the quantity of "some" and I will let you know what I can do. Keeping muffler(s) here until shipping logistics work out is fine with me.

i will be going down to oceanside on friday and could pick them up, and would take them to Sr. trojandads on sunday and tony could take them from there.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough... It is a quantity of TWO (dos) mufflers, of reasonable (automobile) size.

Unfortunately any plans to get them to Tony at the BBQ won't work because the auction doesn't end until Monday, so they will not yet be mine.

I think I'm going to go with a fella that PM'd me, as he lives in Escondido and it's a good opportunity to meet a future neighbor. If for some reason he can't do it, I'll bug the rest of y'all. Thanks!!!
