It could be used to store engine on ,or just to move around the garage. This old back needs them up in the air to work on. My 2 cents Dave
Joe, ive got a motorcycle jack i had used to install the 2.0 into my old yellow car. Worked perfectly since the width of the jack was the width of the oil pan and i also had the tranny attached to the engine. I've got no use for it now since i'm 914-less 
. You can borrow it for as long as you'd like. It made installing the engine a one man job a lot simpler
