I have been lurking here for awhile. Sold the boxster and c4s and bought a new targa 4 . Problem is it's Guards red and my neglected 914 is mighty jealous in the garage next to it. So with the buyer of the c4s driving off with a smile this afternoon I was motivated to begin stripping off trim and lights and seals in prep for paint. No major problems so far except the short 6 inch curved seal from the front fender to the cowl which I destroyed 2x . Noted the $1200 sale of Craigs NOS targa seal with chagrin as mine is hosed. Looking for miracle FROM THE DR . Hoping to be in a paint shop near you in the next month.

Talk to hwgunner about the targaseal. I think he's got a good one on a 76 he's parting out.
