I am doing a little door rebuild and found this in the bottom of the door.

The car is an early '73 with older door construction. Should I just get some kind of epoxy to affix the carrier back to the glass? Should I lube the tracks while I am in here?

I searched classics but couldn't find anything on this particular problem.

As discussed in the "Tech Tips 700" reattach the rear guide with urethene weld (available at any body shop supply place) Check and reattach the front guide as well install the four front rollers and well lube the tracks with white lithium grease!
