Reminds me of the restaurant owner in (perhaps) Finland who has banned French and German tourists from his place and put their flags on his restaurant door with the big red circle and slash over them. He said if the Germans change their mind he will take down their flag and allow the tourists in but not for the French, they are out permanantly

To change the name of French Toast and French Fries as a protest of France is totally dumb. Perhaps schools across the US could stop teaching French? Better yet, perhaps we should stop "French" kissing significant others, unless you want to call it "Freedoming"
