BTW, funny thing about the car, I contacted the owner and he said he loved it....wonder why he's selling....also, even though it's registered as a 57 in Nevada and Arizona....no way can it be done so in CA.

I was able to register mine, but only as a 2006 and was lucky enough to get one of the 500 CA smog exemptions issued by the State for home built rides. If you build a CA replica and don't an exemption...you have to have a smog legal motor....a 356 or VW air cooled motor won't be eligible.

Boy that 914 in front of the 356 must be fast !!!
