So, I'm heading into priming and painting the rear undercarriage of my car.
Rust is welded, sway bar mounts are in, jack points are done. Next weeekend i'm going to apply some modern seam sealer to my new sheet metal seams and prime it with zero rust or Por15 (I have both).

I'd like to topcoat with a dark gray. What kind of product would be best?
Urethane? epoxy deck paint? Plain ol' Hammerite?

What did you use?
pics?.

I used a product called Raptor. It's actually a urethane bedliner product for trucks, but it makes a nice uniform undercoat that will hopefully protect against the rust monster.

You did this awhile ago, so if its back on the road how is it working out? I too

have been eye-balling ryno-coat for the same reason. idea.gif

Seems to be holding up very well. It's easy to clean and can be pigmented to match your paint. I stayed with black for ease of touch up and contrast.
