I was looking on the Porsche Classic part of Porsche's website and found a list of "New Editions" OEM parts at:

It's very sparse, the only 914 part I saw listed was:

* Drive assembly for the 914 standard transmission

That's been there for almost a year now

Brad, I have the fan housing sitting on the bench with one of those OEM alternator ground straps ready to go.
Nothing really looks like the obvious mounting location.
Hole sizes don't even match.

Did you have a chance to look at it when your car was in the shop ?
