Normally caliper adapters have the new mounting holes symetrical to the original locating/mounting holes, lately I have seen some that are moving the caliper out a bit differently...I know on some high-end sport bikes this is common for thier big brake packages.....

arguments for or against such practice??? blink.gif

personally, I see nothing wrong with it as long as the right material and machining practices are followed

no one makes a bolt on solution for boxster calipers on 3" struts....

do a weld on adapter like joe o brien did for his monster brakes, or look at a cantilevered solution like mike posted....

just exploring options....

Cause it's not needed. Spend your money on a "real" engine. Then you might need brakes w00t.gif lol3.gif
